Outr commitment to promote sauerkraut    

 

Within the Vegetable Sauerkraut Promotion Association :

The Vegetable Sauerkraut Promotion Association was formed on 20 June 2006. It is the body set up to protect and manage the official "Red Label" mark awarded to sauerkraut.

The agricultural quality label or "Red Label" certifies that the product possesses a specific set of characteristics establishing a level of quality higher than that of a similar product of standard type. At all stages in its production and processing the product must satisfy regularly updated controls and requirements regarding quality and taste, these being based on the establishment of sensory profiles and the use of hedonic testing.

Within the IFCC (Interprofession Française du Chou et de la Choucroute)

The IFCC was founded in 2006 and consists of sauerkraut manufacturers and their cabbage growers; it aims to promote vegetable sauerkraut and its dietary, nutritional and taste qualities.

Our company is actively involved with the work of the IFCC and Agnès LE Runigo, Chairman of the Board of SAS André Laurent, is its Vice-Chairman.
